Time to Fix December

December hasn't really treated me all that well to this point. A few strong FT runs only to lose in a big spot late. I just have to keep putting myself in those spots as I'm getting a lot of my chips in well ahead, especially in my Stud game runs.

Just recently posted a coaching thread for Stud and Mixed games and shortly after took on my first student. I'm definitely newer to trying to organize everything into a coaching sense but I feel very strongly about my abilities to teach after a 2 hour session with the student. I think that 1 student starting out is good for me, over the next 2 weeks or so I'd like to add on 2 more students and keep it around 3-4 at a time, in order to allow myself enough time to play and then to give each student his due time.

Going forward in December as far as my play, I want to really focus on my HORSE play as I had a deep run yesterday in the $33 HORSE on Stars in which I was sitting top 5 basically from the start. I just have to keep grinding it out and the wins will start to come again. Hoping to double my mixed games BAP by the end of the month, close it up and start January 1st fresh with all of my action. I have a great group of people close to me to help get me through any downswings that I may experience, I just need to jump right into things again.

Good luck at the tables.

Three Means to One End

Psycho Spider (BBsRJReich/SixPackReich): SixPackReich - A 20 year old Turbo 180 grinder from Fullerton, CA. BBsRJReich on Stars, and FTP can go die. Started as a 45 grinder around August 2009 and in July 2010 moved to 180s full time. Haven't worked a job since August 2009. My mission? To break souls and break tables, and build my path from the wreckage. How to do such a thing? The same way everyone here will - go hard, and don't stop.

What up fans?  Wait, I has fans?  That's the tits yo!  I'm sure most of you guys already know about me, but bear with me...My name is Eric I'm soon to be 29 and live in Wisconsin.  For many years I focused on playing just about any tourney I "felt" like was the right one to play at that time.  Since joining PTP, I've really come to the decision that I need to take things more seriously and get to grinding. Recently I decided to go back to some of the mixed games that I used to have a ton of success at playing and am feeling very confident going forward with relying on Stud and Horse as my bread and butter. I’ve always had a positive OPR just never went the volume route.  So I am hoping to continue my positive run, but with a lot more mtts on a daily basis.  I'm relying on this blog and you guys to help me drive through the daily grind and fight the urge to step away from that routine.  I'm always open to thoughts, suggestions and criticism.  Feel free to post any comments you feel like sharing or get a hold of me on PTP.  Good luck at the tables!

BakaGaijin34 (BakaGaijin34/QuantumFabric) Hey folks, for those of you who don’t already know me, my name is Jarrod and I play as BakaGaijin34 on Pokerstars. For the past year or so I have delved into the world of turbo SNGs, primarily 45 man games, which for the most part has gone very well. I have had the opportunity to have coaching from great players such as DMcW and Bigbluffzinc, and I work on improving my game on a daily basis. As I work a full time job at an after school program benefiting under-resourced youth, have about two hundred other hobbies, and do my best to have a life outside of poker, volume is not exactly my strength. With only 5,000 games ever played on Pokerstars, many regs play more in two months than I have in my lifetime. As I look to move more volume into my life and show the poker world exactly what I am capable of, I’ll be documenting my progress just like Sixpack and Razzle as we find our Three Means to One End.
